Friday, February 4th 6-9PM   Opening reception of "bits & pieces" 

A mixed media show featuring the artwork of Rachel Kohler and Colleene Daugherty.  Rachel's unique urban landscapes are created through the use of etching techniques integrated with a variety of painting materials and styles.  Colleene's fused glass pins and bowls are truly one-of-a-kind whimsical creations.

Friday, March 4th 6-9PM   Opening reception of "I Don't Want to Grow Up!" 

A collection artwork inspired by the joys childhood.  Also works from students will be showcased.

Saturday, March 19th 11-2PM   "The Magical Fan" 

Meet local authors Sarah Jane Ingrham and Jeannie Morse as they sign and read their delightful new children's book.  Please bring your kids for a wonderful afternoon of storytelling.  Copies of their book will be available for purchase.

Friday, April 15th 6-9PM   "Let's Rock for LENSC" 

A fundraiser kick-off with a gallery full of artwork inspired by nature or made from natural materials.  In addition, area artists will have created one of a kind Pet rocks using a variety of materials and their imagination.  The rocks will be auctioned later in the evening.  Live animals will be on-hand as well as the LENSC staff to answer questions and provide information about the great programs the center has to offer.  Anyone interested in creating a Pet rock please contact Linda for more information.

Saturday, April 16th 1-5PM   "LENSC Meet & Greet" 

Bring along your family for a hands-on day.  LENSC staff will have live animals you can touch and take photos with.  Children will also be able to create their own Pet rocks with a hands-on art activity.
